    "Unprocessed collection, contact the University Archivist for additional information. Accession UA 2001-30 consists of material collected by Melvin Holli between 1967 and 1972 concerning the reaction to the Vietnam War, including student protests, the student strike of 1970, and the Alternative University. In addition to information on UIC, it also includes material other events in Chicago and across the nation. Material in the supplement includes official and unofficial material distributed by the administration and student organizations, to include memorandum, announcements, flyers, and newspaper clippings. Accession UA 2004-23 includes correspondence between Prof. Holli and Senator Carol Mosely Braun on issues she faced in the US Senate, 1992-1998. Accession UA 2004-41 includes letters from Senators Braun, Fitzgerald, Durbin, Simon and Dixon; Representative Davis; and Presidents Clinton and Reagan. Accessions UA 2004-47, UA 2004-68, UA 2005-02 contain assorted material related to Prof. Holli's research on Chicago/US Politics and Urban History as well as some of his activities on campus. UA 2005-14 & 15 contain scattered campaign posters and sticker, material on the renaming of the UIC Library to the RJ Daley Library, scattered material from the Illinois Ethics Commission, and correspondence with San Francisco Mayor George R. Moscone, Bernard Epton's campaign for Mayor, Representative Robert McClory eliciting donation of McClory's papers to UIC (1966), Representative Barratt O'Hara eliciting donation of O'Hara's papers to UIC (1966), Correspondence with Federal Energy Administration, and a proposal from the Dutton Billposting Service signed by Bob Dutton, a member of the Bill Posters Union, for distribution of posters advocating re-election of Mayor Martin H. Kennelly. UA 2006-43 contains three linear feet of scattered deposits sent to Collections Develoment and University Archives during 2006. Contains information audio tapes, and videotapes on Chicago politics, ethnicity, the Urban Historyections, and various interest of Prof. Holli. UA 2006-58 -- VHS videotapes re: Richard Daley and Chicago City Council". UA 2011-09 contains reports of the University of Illinois survey research lab and clippings, short biographies, and research materials related to UIC history, including student unrest and activism, and to Chicago politics.
